Bio/Description

Sean Gasper Bye is a translator of Polish literature, most recently “Foucault in Warsaw” by Remigiusz Ryziński, “Ellis Island: A People’s History by Małgorzata Szejnert” and
“The King of Warsaw” by Szczepan Twardoch, which was awarded the EBRD Literary Prize. Born in Pennsylvania, he studied at the University of London and worked for five years at the Polish Cultural Institute New York. He now lives in Philadelphia and translates full-time.
