Saskia Vogel is a writer and Swedish-to-English literary translator from Los Angeles. “Permission,” her debut novel, was published in five languages and optioned for television. In 2021 she was a PEN America Translation Award finalist and her forthcoming translation of Johanne Lykke Holm’s “Strega” received the English PEN Translates Award. Her current writing project on sexual politics was awarded the Berlin Senate grant for non-German-language literature.
