The Program in Translation and Intercultural Communication invites proposals for graduate pre-dissertation and dissertation translation projects to be taken during Winter Recess 2024-2025. Graduates wishing to take advantage of this opportunity should submit proposals of approximately 500 words. Provide a clear statement of your anticipated project noting how this will inform your dissertation topic. Please state whether it has been supported by any other University funding. Graduate students may translate from and into any languages, and choose texts of any genre, including non-literary texts. Submission of a budget is not required.  The maximum for these grants is set at $500. Note: we will not be funding proposals for international travel unless the travel is essential to the translation project, and translation is the primary purpose of the trip.
